[Bug 1532226] Re: A significant number of fresh boots or restarts result in no menus for most apps
Confirming in new install of 16.04 today. Doug McMahon is correct when he said... "This seems to be continuing at 'random' with no particular rhyme or reason & no way to reproduce on demand." After installing Pinta and The Gimp, I had no global menu for either app. Logged out and back in and all was fine. Rebooted and lost it again. Logged out and back in and the menus were fine. Well, after installing Jaunty and Intrepid and trying TVTime on these versions, I can only come to the conclusion that either Karmic breaks TVTime or TVTime breaks Karmic. In any event, it works in the 2 previous Ubuntu versions on this computer. So something has drastically changed to cause this mess. -- NO Audio in Tv Time using Ubuntu Karmic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/472770 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 472770] Re: NO Audio in Tv Time using Ubuntu Karmic
Glad that worked. But as stated above, me and others (as stated here and on a couple of other support forums) do not have the "Aux" option. Didn't need it before, shouldn't need it now. Sad. This is the only thing keeping me from ditching Windows. -- NO Audio in Tv Time using Ubuntu Karmic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/472770 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 472770] Re: NO Audio in Tv Time using Ubuntu Karmic
Thanks, hrvooje. No help for me on Karmic at least. I'm pretty sure something has changed in Karmic as there was no issue for me in Intrepid or Jaunty. -- NO Audio in Tv Time using Ubuntu Karmic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/472770 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 472770] Re: NO Audio in Tv Time using Ubuntu Karmic
Well, I have no "AUX" in alsamixer: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v694/unclespellbinder/Blog/alsamixer_A.png Running Karmic Koala 32-bit (clean install, not an upgrade). This problem is quite annoying as TVTime worked fine for me in Intrepid and Jaunty. Unlike the ridiculously complicated setup of MythTV, TVTime is usually up and running in seconds. Until now. I hope a fix is around the corner. -- NO Audio in Tv Time using Ubuntu Karmic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/472770 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 330375] Re: Package seamonkey-2.0 not published in Ubuntu'
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 461864 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/461864 The official 2.0 release was 10-27-09. From what I've read, SeaMonkey 1.1xx will receive bug fixes for a time and then languish into obscurity. In any event, the most current is 2.0 and I believe it should be included in Ubuntu ASAP. -- Package seamonkey-2.0 not published in Ubuntu' https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/330375 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 461864] Re: Add Seamonkey 2.0 to Ubuntu
I agree whole heartedly! The official 2.0 release was 10-27-09. From what I've read, SeaMonkey 1.1xx will receive bug fixes for a time and then languish into obscurity. In any event, the most current is 2.0 and I believe it should be included in Ubuntu ASAP. Hopefully I'll be able to get it via Karmic backports. -- Add Seamonkey 2.0 to Ubuntu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/461864 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
