I found this equalizer on this site http://cs.helsinki.fi/u/ttokalli/rb- plugins/ (Teemu Kallio did the job), it works but i think that this should be embedded in RB, just like Jamendo (on the left plane for example). I use ipw3945d-2.6.22-14-generic (Intel) card on Laptop. Let I tell this way. Indicator of signal strength has 4 bars and it never shows only one bar(if the signal is low) it just disconnects.
