First of all, to me this looks like a bug in Gtk+. Whatever triggers this, the crash is ultimately caused by the failure to check return values in _gtk_menu_tracker_item_new(). Second, if the indicator-menu is unsupported, what replaces it? This is from my GDB session: (gdb) p action_name $2 = (const gchar *) 0x7f0a1e18a9e8 src.mailbox:///home/wilx/.thunderbird/2de4mlx2.default/Mail/Feeds/Standard%20C++%20|%20Articles%20%20Books (gdb) p action_namespace $3 = (const gchar *) 0x7f0a1e17e970 indicator.thunderbird Notice that action_namespace does not contain a '|' character. The function fails and returns NULL, which is stored into self-action_and_target without checking for failure which subsequently dies on line 518 in _gtk_menu_tracker_item_new(). Conclusion: 1. _gtk_menu_tracker_item_new() should check for failure of gtk_print_action_and_target(). 2. [Bug 1313389] [NEW] Installing gccgo-4.9 breaks clang++
Public bug reported: The clang++ driver will not find standard C++ headers and the libstdc++ library when there is gccgo-4.9 package installed as well. This appears to be due to gccgo-4.9 installing few things into /usr/bin/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/4.9. The clang++ driver sees this directory and thinks it contains full C++ headers and run time installation when it does not, because there are only some parts relevant to gccgo-4.9. Uninstalling gccgo-4.9 fixes the issue because clang++ then finds only the 4.8 directory and uses that. Public bug reported: After upgrade from 12.10 to 13.04 beta of Ubuntu (Xubuntu), I am experiencing some issues. Like without me actually changing anything, my fonts are broken for some applications (most of them) and not for other (rxvt). See this http://i.imgur.com/ubVvr53.png As you can see, rxvt there is the only application with normal fonts. The Terminal application from Xfce suite is for some inexplicable reason using some kind of proportional font. See that the font in the Terminal Preferences is set to Liberation Mono. It is impossible for me to fill this against any concrete package as it seems that (nearly) all fonts functionality is broken.
