[Bug 1063687] Re: ZTE Data card doesn't work
Actually this is a modem manager bug that does not detects 3G network. It's get connected but does not provides internet access. I've temporary found an alternate solution for it. Connect to any WiFi network which has internet access then also connect to modem. When you get connected to Modem disconnect WiFi, now it works perfectly. Reply about this solution and issue! ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Expired = New ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New = Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1063687 Title: ZTE Data card doesn't work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1063687/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1167287] [NEW] ZTE CDMA2000 Data Terminal Mode AC2787 does not working
Public bug reported: I'm facing some critical issue with my data terminal. I'm using ZTE AC2787 Model and this is not working in Ubuntu 12.10 and 13.04. I tried many time to connect to my MTS MBlaze connection by selecting from Network Indicator. It get connected but does not provides internet. After connecting when I visits some website then browser reports Unable to connect. But in some different condition it works well. How? See the steps here, what I found: 1. Connect to some available WiFi internet network. 2. Then Also Connect to Mobile broadband network connection (In my condition MTS MBlaze Connection) 3. Then disconnect to connected WiFi network. 4. That's all (It is working...) Above issue was in 12.10. And see what I found in 13.04: When I tried to connect to mobile broad band then during the period of connecting it shows Empty Label instead Device registered name (MTS MBlaze). And also in 13.04 does not works the above tric I found. [Bug 1063687] Re: ZTE Data card doesn't work
** Description changed: ZTE Internet data card doesn't work. I'm using a ZTE Data Card model: AC2746 on MTS network in India. Data card gets connected but network doesn't works. Browser report a message with Server Not Found. I've also tried Huawai Data Card on Tata Photon+ network and it works well. Only issue with ZTE. This device was working well with previous version of Ubuntu like 12.04, now I'm using 12.10 Beta and this is not working. Apport also appears on screen after connecting device within 5-10 minutes but I'm not able to send report because internet was not working with this device. That's why I'm - reporting this but manually. + reporting this manually.
