[Bug 1885527] Re: cloud-init regenerating ssh-keys
We have no problem about cloud-init still being active on the machine after the first boot init. My issue is: On first instance boot, the metadata service is successfully contacted, and the initialisation succeed (host ssh key generated, hostname set, ...) But on any reboot, if the metadata service is DOWN or not reachable for any reason, then cloud-init regenerates the host ssh keys. My understanding is that determining if it is a first boot, or not, is only based on the cached instance-id, compared to the data received from the metadata service. So if the metadata service is DOWN or not reachable, cloud-init will always think it is a first boot, right? Isn't it possible to make this test more robust? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1885527 Title: cloud-init regenerating ssh-keys To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cloud-init/+bug/1885527/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Re: [Bug 1856908] Re: Sometimes my Lenovo v310 freezes completely while playing music
not know, is it really dangerous or not. My notebook still works. All tests were carried out during the all night with the sound through HDMI and with VirtualBox running MS Windows as guest OS, which was doing something all the time. Everything was the same way as before, when I had problems. Probably i'll stay on 5.5 kernel. Thank you all for the help. See you when new bugs will appear. вт, 4 февр. 2020 г. в 17:33, Valery Frolov : > will try in 3-4 days. thanks a lot! > > respectfully > valerii frolov > > > С уважением. > Валерий Фролов > ООО "АСУ-Проект", г. [Bug 1856908] Re: Sometimes my Lenovo v310 freezes completely while playing music
as for now, i can say that the problem eventually happens when music plays throu hdmi sound channel, i have use analog speaker for the long time and everything was fine, as i can mention. but if i switch to hdmi, even i use the very same software (virtual box, google chrome, audacious), my notebook dies in an hour or two, and it became unavailiable completely locally and by means of wired lan. i would be glad to know about any progress on this topic -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1856908 Title: Sometimes my Lenovo v310 freezes completely while playing music To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1856908/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Unfortunately i can't do apport-collect 1. This is probably a bug also. apport-collect does not work if ~/.cache is a symbolic link 2. even after a have moved ~/.cache phisically to my home directory, it does not work: $ apport-collect 1856908 The authorization page: (https://launchpad.net/+authorize-token?oauth_token=dJG2Q2vgJq8cwTzGX6sK_permission=DESKTOP_INTEGRATION) should be opening in your browser. Public bug reported: getaddrinfo(3) refuses to resolve IPv6 addresses if hint flag AI_ADDRCONFIG is specified and when there are no IPv6 addresses other than link-local are configured. Unfortunately that happens even with AI_NUMERICHOST. This makes it impossible to use nc6 with IPv6 loopback or link-local addresses on such systems, e.g. $ nc6 -n fe80::a00:27ff:fefd:3b2a%eth0 12345 nc6: forward host lookup failed for remote endpoint fe80::a00:27ff:fefd:3b2a%eth0: Address family for hostname not supported The code to resolve addresses in network.c does #ifdef HAVE_GETADDRINFO_AI_ADDRCONFIG hints.ai_flags |= AI_ADDRCONFIG; #endif if (ca_is_flag_set(attrs, CA_NUMERIC_MODE)) hints.ai_flags |= AI_NUMERICHOST; this should be perhaps changed to the (untested): if (ca_is_flag_set(attrs, CA_NUMERIC_MODE)) hints.ai_flags |= AI_NUMERICHOST; #ifdef HAVE_GETADDRINFO_AI_ADDRCONFIG else hints.ai_flags |= AI_ADDRCONFIG; #endif so that AI_ADDRCONFIG is not specified when numeric host address is used. ** Affects: nc6 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1534215 Title: link-local IPv6 addresses are rejected To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nc6/+bug/1534215/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

My 5 cents. I guess the problem is in the console-setup package. i was digging in initramfs scripts. hope this may help. Changes below working well for me (15.10, i386). Having the same issue. I've upgraded from 13.04 where I had alt+shift toggling between En and Ru and belarusian as system language. Current behavior is: 1. I can change layouts between En and Be via alt+shift without updating the indicator (but i can see current layout on lock screen). 2. Re: [Bug 892751] Re: error detection OCR
Thank you, Brian Murray. Unfortunately, I speak in Russian, German, Polish. In English can only through Google. I try to learn. So forgive me if anything is unclear. Can you recommend another program OCR? This is necessary to educate students in college. The program YAGF ended unexpectedly work. This is - a disaster in the classroom of students.
