Re: [Bug 1856908] Re: Sometimes my Lenovo v310 freezes completely while playing music
not know, is it really dangerous or not. My notebook still works. All tests were carried out during the all night with the sound through HDMI and with VirtualBox running MS Windows as guest OS, which was doing something all the time. Everything was the same way as before, when I had problems. Probably i'll stay on 5.5 kernel. Thank you all for the help. See you when new bugs will appear. вт, 4 февр. 2020 г. в 17:33, Valery Frolov : > will try in 3-4 days. thanks a lot! > > respectfully > valerii frolov > > > С уважением. > Валерий Фролов > ООО "АСУ-Проект", г. [Bug 1856908] Re: Sometimes my Lenovo v310 freezes completely while playing music
as for now, i can say that the problem eventually happens when music plays throu hdmi sound channel, i have use analog speaker for the long time and everything was fine, as i can mention. but if i switch to hdmi, even i use the very same software (virtual box, google chrome, audacious), my notebook dies in an hour or two, and it became unavailiable completely locally and by means of wired lan. i would be glad to know about any progress on this topic -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1856908 Title: Sometimes my Lenovo v310 freezes completely while playing music To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1856908/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

My 5 cents. I guess the problem is in the console-setup package. i was digging in initramfs scripts. hope this may help. Changes below working well for me (15.10, i386).
