[Bug 213484] Re: firefox crashed with SIGSEGV

2009-03-23 Thread Viggo
Firefox 3.0.7 crashed on Hardy when opening after a reboot. Have no idea why. I
had about 10 different tabs from a previous session. I got a password
confirmation dialogue from a webpage right before it crashed. Right after the
crash, it started fine with the same 10 tabs.
The bug report tried appending some attachments. I don't know where they went.

[Bug 131587] Re: Upgrade failure - Packages.gz 404 Not Found

2007-09-03 Thread Viggo
console output:
"extracting '/tmp/tmp27ZnyN/gutsy.tar.gz'
authenticate '/tmp/tmp27ZnyN/gutsy.tar.gz' against
'/tmp/tmp27ZnyN/gutsy.tar.gz.gpg'
could not send the dbus Inhibit signal: global name 'dbus' is not defined"

Also:
If running update-manager before closing the error message "Failed to fetch
http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu/dists/gutsy/commercial/binary-i386/Packages.gz
404 Not Found", 643 updates are available.
Probably because rollback is performed after closing the error message window.

SV: [Bug 93358] Re: error appeared after reboot

2007-03-18 Thread Viggo
Hi

To clarify: I did not experience any error, only the crash report.

Steps to reproduce:
1: Launch Firefox
2: Enter www.youtube.com
3: Start a video
4: Reboot computer while video is playing.

I managed to do the above several times, producing the Crash report.
The Crash report is unfortunately(?) not appearing any more now.

Thank you Viggo for this report.

Can you reproduce the bug? If so, which are the steps that cause the
crash?

[Bug 70719] Re: [ Wifi card Intel Pro 3945 ] - My wifi connection "disappears" after a while...

2006-12-14 Thread Trond Viggo Håpnes
Got two APs, tried with different channels, but no luck. And it works perfectly
with my other computers. When the connection drops this line appears in syslog:
ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth1: link is not ready

While the connection is down I can do a scan, but can't connect to any WLAN
before I get this line in the syslog:
ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): eth1: link becomes ready

[Bug 70719] Re: [ Wifi card Intel Pro 3945 ] - My wifi connection "disappears" after a while...

2006-12-13 Thread Trond Viggo Håpnes
In my case its probably a hardware problem, I installed Windows and I
got the same problem there.

[Bug 70719] Re: [ Wifi card Intel Pro 3945 ] - My wifi connection "disappears" after a while...

2006-12-03 Thread Trond Viggo Håpnes
I got the same problem om my Dell D520 with Intel Pro 3945. Without
warning my wireless connection drops.

dmesg | grep eth1
[17179618.06] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth1: link is not ready
[17179859.528000] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): eth1: link becomes ready
[17179870.268000] eth1: no IPv6 routers present

While the connection is down I can do a "sudo iwlist eth1 scan", and get
the SSIDs. But I can't connect to ant of them. I've tried different
WLANs, with and without WEP.
