[Bug 124348] Re: Logging off causes error on client

2008-08-24 Thread Vincent Maroun
I'm using tsclient 0.150 - experience the 30 second reconnect anytime
the session is interrupted.

This can be more than just a minor annoyance. For example:

Client 1 connects to server. Then, after some amount of time, Client 2
connects to server. Client 2 can stay connected for only 30 seconds
because Client 1 will reconnect within 30 seconds of being disconnected.

The only way to stop Client 1 from connecting (without having direct
access to Client 1) is to block the MAC on the switch port or whip up a
quick inbound or outbound firewall rule.

[Bug 100044] RDP password not passed through

2007-04-02 Thread Vincent Maroun
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: tsclient

TSClient 0.148
rdesktop 1.5.0
Ubuntu Feisty

TSClient does not pass through the entered password to the Remote
Desktop server (I have to enter the password regardless of whether I
enter it on the TSClient window).

In addition, it does not save the entered password into the .rdp file it
creates. Finally, when I load a preexisting functioning .rdp file
(containing a saved password) created with a Windows Remote Desktop
client, TSClient does not show anything in the password box, nor does it
pass the password thrugh to the RDP server.

rdesktop -u username -p password host.domain.com successfully passes
the password.
