I confirm I'm having the same punctuation/special chars problem using Evince 2.22.2/poppler 0.6.4 (cairo) in Ubuntu 8.04. I confirm this! I'm trying to install 8.04 final 32b on my machine and it dumps me in the BusyBox screen... This machine is running 7.10 and ran without problems all Ubuntu releases since 6.10. I confirm it too! I'm running the official release of ubuntu gutsy 7.10 i386 and my boot time is VERY long... I installed the OS twice and in a fresh install, even after several reboots, my boot time between the grub menu and the login screen lasts 56sec. (!!!) My specs: - ACER 5051 - AMD Turion 64 2000+ 1.5 Gb RAM (-128Mb video card) ATI X1100 bcm4318 This is a fairly recent computer! I hope you guys can check what's happening here... Please request if you want me to run some commands or something!
