Well... The point is there's no home network. That USB stick modem connects me directly to the Internet, if I get this right. And since I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 now and the problem remained I filed another bug report which is: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/987889 ...and you have already been there. It seems that I'm having the same problems: ALSA lib conf.c:3314:(snd_config_hooks_call) Cannot open shared library libasound_module_conf_pulse.so ALSA lib pcm.c:2217:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM default Got signal 11 at 0x94 from 0xb771dab0 ...when trying to launch Shadowgrounds. Most of the games which used to work perfectly in 11.10 now wouldn't even start.
