[Bug 879861] Re: NM doesn't automatically connect to the Internet

2012-06-29 Thread Vladimir Kooznetsov
Well... The point is there's no home network. That USB stick modem connects me
directly to the Internet, if I get this right.
And since I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 now and the problem remained I filed another
bug report which is:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/987889
...and you have already been there. We might carry on in that thread. Only I'm
not really advanced in terms of outputs and would be thankful to get a link on
a howto or something...
Thank you so much for your help,
Vlad.

[Bug 990072] Re: Failure to access library

2012-04-28 Thread Vladimir Kooznetsov
It seems that I'm having the same problems:
ALSA lib conf.c:3314:(snd_config_hooks_call) Cannot open shared library
libasound_module_conf_pulse.so
ALSA lib pcm.c:2217:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM default
Got signal 11 at 0x94 from 0xb771dab0
...when trying to launch Shadowgrounds.
Most of the games which used to work perfectly in 11.10 now wouldn't even
start. I suppose the problem is connected with the library or something.

[Bug 987881] [NEW] Terms of service dialogue - Unable to load page

2012-04-24 Thread Vladimir Kooznetsov
Public bug reported:

I'm not able to accept any terms of service due to the bug when it is
impossible to actually load them. I receive:

Problem occurred while loading the URL

Cannot resolve proxy hostname ()

...and the suggestion to try again which has no effect.

Right now I cannot purchase anything and hope it will be fixed soon.

Have similar problems with Flush (as it was set up to launch in tray by
default, i couldn't even get access to it until i switched to gnome and
unchecked this option), Goldendict (just disappears in nowhere after closing
the app, though keeps working) and this is really frustrating.

Because I could give you more examples but as far as i see, there won't
be much use of it, since all of them are connected with the language
specifics and, sometimes, ridiculous misspelling.
