[Bug 1232130] Re: Uninstalling an app doesn't stop it
I think this also affects app updates. I did following: 1. Start clock app 2. Go to system settings, updates 3. Install clock app update 4. Clock app is still running, stop it 5. Start clock app The clock app won't start after this, it just shows white window. I don't have any logs though, because I tried if reboot fixes this (and it does). This happend on image #71 from devel-proposed on hammerhead. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1232130 Title: Uninstalling an app doesn't stop it To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/click/+bug/1232130/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 421660] Re: gksu's and gksudo's modal password prompt prevents OnBoard's virtual keyboard input, causing accessibility issues
A while after boot and every now and than something crashes (I think it is cups) and then "System error occured" window appears, I think you call it whoopsie. When I click the "report" button, it asks for password using gksudo, and I can't enter anything. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/421660 Title: gksu's and gksudo's modal password prompt prevents OnBoard's virtual keyboard input, causing accessibility issues To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-nexus7/+bug/421660/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1089038] Re: [PATCH] Add support for booting from subdirectory in root
** Description changed: Attached patch allows booting from some subdirectory on root device via "rootsubdir" command line parameter. It is very similiar to booting from loop device, except it uses "mount -o bind". This is useful for devices whose main OS is not Ubuntu - e.g. android devices like Nexus 7. Ubuntu then does not have to replace Android, and can be easily dual-booted. + + Note: this patch can't handle paths with spaces, and I don't know how + should that be fixed. Anything with spaces should not be even passed as + kernel parameter I guess. Anyway, the "loop" option has the same problem, + since rootsubdir does almost the same thing. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1089038 Title: [PATCH] Add support for booting from subdirectory in root To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/initramfs-tools/+bug/1089038/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
