[Bug 1265761] [NEW] Muon shows upgrades but does not install them
Public bug reported: What is expected to happen: After giving user credentials muon-updater should install packages that is lists as upgrades What happened instead: When launching the muon-updater from the system tray icon I'm presented with a list of packages to be installed, after giving my password packages are being downloaded and the process of installation begins and it immediately ends. Muon-updater now gives me the same list of packages but they are not installed. Additionally sometimes muon-updater is stuck on 'Waiting for configuration file' forever. Using apt-get update/upgrade does not produce this problem. $ lsb_release -rd Description:Ubuntu 13.10 Release:13.10 $ apt-cache policy muon-updater muon-updater: Zainstalowana: 2.1.2-0ubuntu0.1 Kandydująca: 2.1.2-0ubuntu0.1 Tabela wersji: *** 2.1.2-0ubuntu0.1 0 500 http://pl.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ saucy-proposed/universe amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 2.1.1-0ubuntu0.1 0 500 http://pl.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ saucy-updates/universe amd64 Packages 2.0.65+git20131008-0ubuntu4 0 500 http://pl.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ saucy/universe amd64 Packages ** Affects: muon (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1265761 Title: Muon shows upgrades but does not install them To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/muon/+bug/1265761/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 297385] Re: iwl3945 sometimes fails to resume after suspend
I see this issue on Ubuntu 12.04 all the way from 10.10 i think. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/297385 Title: iwl3945 sometimes fails to resume after suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/297385/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 732174] Re: Intel Wireless Adapter iwl3945 not working after sleep
In my case this error does not occur after every resume. Now, interested persons might want to read: 1. http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-1322643.html (6th post) 2. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/297385 (similar, if not the same bug dating back to 8.10...) For me this is serious, I sometimes need to resume my laptop and quickly look-up something on the web, sometimes I'm on the phone and I have to reboot. This is very frustrating as this bug hasn't been resolved since 2008 This is not ubuntu-only bug as it occured on opensuse and fedora. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/732174 Title: Intel Wireless Adapter iwl3945 not working after sleep -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 661394] Re: Compal/nvidia breakage in system76 laptops
I confirm the existence of this bug on my system. It started showing right after the upgrade from 10.04. This is a VERY annoying bug as it happens randomly. Manually installed drivers do not work either... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/661394 Title: Compal/nvidia breakage in system76 laptops -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
