Re: [Bug 804875] Re: Natty 2.6.38-10 Boot Loop
Did that. He system says Starting Up. Begins tobload the kernel and the last thing I see is the system rebooting somewhere around loading the i815 driver. Nothing else prints on the terminal. [Bug 804875] [NEW] Natty 2.6.38-10 Boot Loop
Public bug reported: I upgraded Natty to the 2.6.38-10-generic kernel but I end up with an endless boot loop. I even tried the 2.6.38-10-pae kernel with the same effect. Basically, the instant GRUB attempts to load the kernel, I get a full reboot. I'm out of ideas on what to even try to solve this one, as the kernel SHOULD be working on my hardware. I've attached a system info dump if that helps. Can't provide any relevant log files as the system reboots the instant the kernel tries to load. The last working kernel I have is shown on the system dump.
