[Bug 1537389] Re: The Desktop Never Loads and just stays on a black screen
I think this bug affects me as well. It seems that the system doesn't switch to tty8 properly. If desktop fails to load I can sometimes get it to appear by first switching to tty1 then tty8. A bit more reliable way seems to switch to tty1 and delete ~/.cache before logging into unity8. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1537389 Title: The Desktop Never Loads and just stays on a black screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity8-desktop-session/+bug/1537389/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1465858] Re: Time can not be read when alarm is set (while swiping/opening indicator)
I just reproduced the bug on my BQ phone running krillin r24. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1465858 Title: Time can not be read when alarm is set (while swiping/opening indicator) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity8/+bug/1465858/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1264844] Re: Pyopencl dependence on opencl-icd (and the lack of providing packages) makes it tricky to install
I've been having trouble with this as well. Managed to break both ubuntu on my desktop and laptop by accidentally installing the nvidia stuff (that'll teach me to gloss over apt-get to be installed lists). Managed to work around it by simply building pyopencl fram source, everything seems to work so far. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1264844 Title: Pyopencl dependence on opencl-icd (and the lack of providing packages) makes it tricky to install To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pyopencl/+bug/1264844/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1197586] Re: bcmwl-kernel-source 6.20.155.1+bdcom-0ubuntu6 Error! Bad return status for module build [error: implicit declaration of function ‘create_proc_entry’]
I've been having the same issue with kernel 3.12.0-rc4. Decided to try perinda's patch, it seems to work, but only after I fixed an issue with whitespaces (I had to replace 4 spaces with a single tab). ** Patch added: Adaption of purinda patch for 3.9-3.10 so it works with 3.12. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bcmwl/+bug/1197586/+attachment/3877847/+files/0008-add-support-to-linux-3.12.0.patch -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1197586 Title: bcmwl-kernel-source 6.20.155.1+bdcom-0ubuntu6 Error!
