[Bug 242876] [NEW] lost wireless after upgrading to 2.6.24-19
Public bug reported: I installed Ubuntu Hardy. After some troubles with my wireless network i got everething working under the 2.6.24-16 kernel. When my wireless network finally worked I've let my computer run all updates. After rebooting Hardy didn't recognize my wireless network card anymore. When I start under the -16 kernel everthings work, but under -19 not. I do not see the card in the window with the proprietary drivers. my card: lspci | grep Wireless 06:05.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4318 [AirForce One 54g] 802.11g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 02) Using Ubuntu 8.04 ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- lost wireless after upgrading to 2.6.24-19 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/242876 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
