At regularly intervals, wifi fails and returns after a few minutes. Only
symptom I could find is this message in kern.log:

[Bug 870127] Re: e1000e: workaround for packet drop on 82579LM at 100Mbps

I activated the proposed archive on my Ubuntu Oneiric install and can
confirm the issue with the intel NIC got solved! Can not confirm however
it was specifically this bug that solved the issue ;-)
