Re: [Bug 1227211] Re: 12.10 to 13.04 upgrade failed
I was trying to upgrade from 12.10 to 13.04 because my desktop text has turned to small boxes. The upgrade still hasn't finished but it fixed the text issue (for now). It may not be a bug, the terminal told me to post it as a bug though so I did. I suspect the reason that it reported as a bug was that there was a problem related to the libudev dependencies before I tried to upgrade. I'm not sure about this though On Wednesday, September 18, 2013, Quinn Balazs wrote: So this isn't precisely a bug. You needed to run apt-get update' and apt-get upgrade in order to get the most recent version of libc6. The version of libudevl that is used in Raring requires libc6 2.17. -- You received this bug notification because you are subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1227211 Title: 12.10 to 13.04 upgrade failed Status in “ubuntu-release-upgrader” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Bug: /var/log/dist-upgrade/main.log and /var/log/dist-upgrade/apt.log upgrade was aborted The terminal asked me to report this bug when the upgrade failed.
