[Bug 812041] [NEW] [gwibber] This application is not allowed to access or delete your direct messages

2011-07-17 Thread Ye Myat Kaung
Public bug reported:

Description:Ubuntu 11.04
Release:11.04
Codename: natty

Gwibber version: 3.1.0~bzr997-0ubuntu1~daily1

What should happen: When I authenticate with Twitter, as an app, I
should be able to use it to see my direct messages as well.

What happened: [refer to the screenshot] I'm not allowed, rather gwibber
is not allowed to access/delete my direct messages. And the warning
message keeps showing up.

** Affects: gwibber (Ubuntu)

It does happen on an up to date Maverick; Shotwell v.0.8.1.
Hence "Status New" > "Status Confirmed"

It also effects https://help.ubuntu.com/10.10/add-

Would linking to the same help file that opens up from Ubuntu Software

[Bug 626382] Re: Shotwell should be mentioned instead of F-Spot

In https://help.ubuntu.com/10.10/musicvideophotos/C/photos-import.html
F-Spot is still mentioned, instead it should be Shotwell. So, I've made
this patch for it.

nor add a new one. [ Following is the attached photo of how the

[Bug 576971] Re: gwibber does not start

2010-10-29 Thread Ye Myat Kaung
I'm using Ubuntu 10.10. I use https://launchpad.net/~gwibber-
daily/+archive/ppa. when i do: gwibber-service -d -o, i get these
errors. [ Note: the raising gwibber client is shown only when i try to
click the gwibber icon from the indicator applet and it fails.]

Gwibber Dispatcher: DEBUGSetting up monitors
Gwibber Dispatcher: DEBUGRefresh interval is set to 1
Gwibber Dispatcher: DEBUGRaising gwibber client
Gwibber Dispatcher: ERRORFailed to raise client
(DBusException(dbus.String(u'Message did not receive a reply (timeout by
message bus)'),),)

The attachment contains the output of gwibber when runned from the
terminal. at the last line, it's showing: KeyError: u'twitter'

>From the out put of cat /var/lib/dpkg/status | grep gwibber, it shows "
Conflicts: gwibber (<< 2.29.1~bzr506-0ubuntu1) " for Package: gwibber-
service (i don't know if that is even needed)

[Bug 611469] Re: Gwibber not sending or receiving facebook messages

2010-08-12 Thread Ye Myat Kaung
I'm running Gwibber version 2.31.4. In my case I can receive messages
from Facebook through Gwibber, but couldn't update my status through it.
But as you mentioned above I run "gnome-keyring-daemon" and started up
"gwibber-service -d -o", I could send my status update.

P.S. If you think that my case does not apply here, you can delete it.
I'm just eager to help make Gwibber better.
