[Bug 1019533] [NEW] User name show as None in high score

2012-06-30 Thread Yongzhi Pan
Public bug reported:

In version 1.1.1, If you win the game and get high score, the record
displayed and saved has the user name as None. Upstream has fixed this
bug and released 1.1.2 for this. Version 1.1.2 is already in Quantal.
Will the version in Quantal be synced to 12.04?

[Bug 911753] [NEW] Wrong directive in config file cause server to crash

2012-01-04 Thread Yongzhi Pan
Public bug reported:

I added PermitUserEnvironment Yes in sshd_config file, and the server
cannot start at all. Every attempt to start the server results in such
error messages at the end of this report.

The reason is I used 'Yes', which should be 'yes'. It is hard to find,
since when starting the server, it seems OK:

$ sudo /etc/init.d/ssh start
[sudo] password for tux:
Rather than invoking init scripts through /etc/init.d, use the service(8)
utility, e.g. service ssh start

Since the script you are attempting to invoke has been converted to an
Upstart job, you may also use the start(8) utility, e.g. start ssh
ssh start/running, process 5780

It does not report it as a config file error.

[Bug 886414] Re: No 2 Minute pause at login for Server Boot in Ubuntu Desktop

2011-11-17 Thread Yongzhi Pan
This is annoying when I want to configure network interfaces via
interfaces(5). Network Manager can do just a little simple
configuration. Why should this even be call by the developer a feature?

This makes Google Docs in Firefox unusable. Inserting characters
overwrites texts after the cursor.

[Bug 831768] Re: aptitude cannot handle conflicts with multiarch enabled

I mostly use aptitude for package managing. I use it daily.
Move /etc/dpkg/dpkg.cfg.d/multiarch to something else can disable multiarch.

Bump. For me typing break is indispensable. I have it in Gnome 2.x,
but it is gone for 3.x.

[Bug 824331] [NEW] Suggest be case insensitve

2011-08-11 Thread Yongzhi Pan
Public bug reported:

Scenario: I want to use Xnest. I type 'xnest', and the shell just tells
me command not found and no suggestion. Oops, doesn't Ubuntu ship Xnest?
Later I know I must type 'Xnest' to know which package I should install.

I looked at the code:

def lookup(self, key):
if self.db and self.db.has_key(key):
return self.db[key]

We are using exact matching.

I suggest ignore letter cases when looking up in the databases, since we
usually do not know or remember the exact cases of commands.

[Bug 651007] Re: Does not correctly write resolv.conf

2011-07-18 Thread Yongzhi Pan
Hi all,

This is caused by resolvconf. If I uninstall resolvconf, NetworkManager
will put the DNS servers from VPN at the beginning of resolv.conf, which
in expected. This bug has been resolved at the GNOME Bugzilla.
