[Bug 204996] Re: Linux kernel 2.6.24-12 lockup
Well i think just abandon it like that wont solve anything... tho... i dont belive its a disk I/O... since i think there's a common denominator: Nvidia cards, Wireless Stuff (which has to be loaded with magic) Can you all put the hardware, model, kind of machine you have?... like this: Laptop Compaq v4317la Video: nvidia (with nvidia_new driver) Wireless: broadcom BCM431193 (feisty reports: Broadcom Corporation Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN Mini-PCI Card (rev 02)) using b43 driver -- Linux kernel 2.6.24-12 lockup https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/204996 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 203473] Re: rejected 1 configuration due to insufficient available bus power
I agree. It just happened to me when i was connecting my iPod to the USB port on the keyboard. I'm running Edgy on an iMac and i was just not getting any error whatsoever leaving me clueless about the problem. [Bug 203473] Re: rejected 1 configuration due to insufficient available bus power
Just for the record, if I boot up the Mac partition and connect the same iPod to the same USB connector, it works as expected. Is Apple cheating somehow? Are they forcing the connection?
