[Bug 225843] [NEW] [hardy] xnews (wine) does not display in windows list

2008-05-02 Thread aardvark
Public bug reported:

After upgrading Kubuntu from 7.10 to 8.04, Xnews running under wine disappeard
from the windows list and from the panel at the bottom.
I also installed a fresh 8.04 Kubuntu somewhere else and there's the same
effect. Any other windows program I tried seems to be ok and displays in list
and panel.
Xnews itself works fine, it's just hidden from any window list.

[Bug 351811] [NEW] Mutt will crash when sending email with empty "From:" header

2009-03-30 Thread Saint Aardvark
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: mutt-patched

When sending an email with an empty "From:" header, mutt will crash
rather than warn the user. This turns out to have been fixed
already[1][2][3]; it would be nice to merge this patch from upstream.

To duplicate:

- Start mutt
- Compose an email
- At the prompt just before sending, hit Esc-f (to edit the "From:" header) and
empty the line
- Hit "y" to send the mail
- Watch mutt crash

What should happen instead:

A friendly, informative message and/or setting the From: address
automagically.

System details:

$ lsb_release -rd
Description:Ubuntu 8.04.2
Release:8.04
$ apt-cache policy mutt-patched

  Installed: 1.5.17+20080114-1ubuntu1

Thanks very much, and please let me know if you need any further
