[Bug 87122] Re: [needs-packaging] iFolder
I spent a while in #ifolder today and from what I gather, the dependencies aren't quite in Ubuntu Jaunty quite yet as the PPA is a svn version of ifolder and it seems to require mono2.4 for the server, and then I tried Karmic and mod_mono seemed broken. I ended up resorting to following the other howto and using alien to convert RPMs to debs. For the client, just install the ifolder3 package and thats pretty much it. The way its supposed to work is after installing and doing a2en ssl a2en rewrite simias-server-setup ifolder-admin-setup ifolder- web-setup you should be able to go to https://localhost/admin and start adding users and using https://localhost/ifolder to view the folders. -- [needs-packaging] iFolder https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/87122 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 95071] Re: Nvidia-glx 9755
This new driver doesn't work with GeForce 2 and 3 series cards. A new legacy driver needs to be added for 96xx and when upgrading, it should either automatically migrate users to the proper legacy driver, or this needs to be reverted to prevent breaking a mass amount of older cards. [Bug 86186] Re: Clicking on already-selected Wired Network causes disconnect
Yes, this is the intended behavior. I find it very useful the way it is as when a DHCP server is not functioning correctly, you can just reselect the network to reinitialize and reconnect to it. If the ability to reconnect by choosing the network again is removed, a repair button would need to be added to provide this functionality. I think it is a bit more integrated the way it is now rather then having a separate repair function, like Windows has. -- Clicking on already-selected Wired Network causes disconnect https://launchpad.net/bugs/86186 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 64737] Re: X crashes on lid events
Yes, changed driver from nvidia to nv and it still happens... I did some more experimenting and I stopped acpid and closed the lid, it didn't crash, so I started it back up again, and the lid works properly. I restart the computer and its broken again. Restarting acpid and acpi-support after X is started seems to prevent it from crashing. It also produces this in Xorg.0.log: (WW) Open ACPI failed (/var/run/acpid.socket) (Connection refused) So I looked at /var/log/acpid and it looks like lid.sh is returning with status 1 (which means failure?) a bunch of times? But the first couple of lid closes also return a 0, so I don't know what to make of it. I attached /var/log/acpid Any ideas of what to try to figure out why its failing? ** Attachment added: /var/log/acpid http://librarian.launchpad.net/4728555/acpid -- X crashes on lid events https://launchpad.net/bugs/64737 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
