I can't find any file containing grub in all of these directories
('/bin', '/sbin', '/usr/bin', '/usr/sbin').
About grub : I have installed gfxgrub (and theme) and deleted some items
of the boot menu from the file /boot/grub/menu.lst before updating to
Jaunty.

Hm it was not gfxgrub but gfxboot indeed. Sorry, but I don't understand what I have to do or try. And I have many difficulties to understand how launchpad works and how works this bug report system. I think the problem still on my ubuntu because when I try to use apt-get or Synaptic I have the following message (with compiz for example) : # sudo apt-get install compiz Lecture des listes de paquets...
