[Bug 989144] Re: Failed to upgrade 11.10 - 12.04 (AMD64)
I checked /var/log/dist-upgrade/apt.log to find out which packages were the problem. Turned out it's libcv2 and related. I removed those and then the upgrade worked. ** Changed in: update-manager (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/989144 Title: Failed to upgrade 11.10 - 12.04 (AMD64) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/989144/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 989144] [NEW] Failed to upgrade 11.10 - 12.04 (AMD64)
Public bug reported: Tried to dist-upgrade Ubuntu on my laptop (a Dell inspiron 15R) from 11.10 to 12.04 (AMD64) using update-manager. I have retried after updating all update/apt/dpkg related packages (and a restart), but it didn't help. I am not trying to upgrade to/from a rc (never have). The only non-ubuntu pkg I'm using is wine from the wine ubuntu ppa. I used ubuntu-bug to generate a report and was then forwarded to launchpad, so I hope the info is attached, because I do not know what else to report. [Bug 619201] Re: dvips -Pcmz broke down on 9.10-10.04
Yes, I tried, but it produced a different .pdf. It seemed to be fine, but I couldn't check compat and assumed the USENIX page made sense. Anyway, I'll drop it and use updmap-sys if I encounter any problems.
