[Bug 156934] Fn + Fx is not functioning on Asus A8HE

Fn + F56 are not working. These are brightness keys.

Fn+ F9 is not working. This is touchpad enabler/disabler.

Fn + F8 is not working: This is used for dual monitor.

How do I solve those problems?

The system is an AH8E laptop.

[Bug 156931] Sound accompanied by high pitch and volume disappears when changed

My laptop is an AH8E one with an Intel HDA soundcard.

I install 7.10 a few days ago and the problems still persist.

First, whenever sound is played, it is accompanied by a very high pitch
sound, which is very annoying.

Second, when I tried to change the volume in either Headphone bar or PCM
bar, sound disappears.

Please help me fix the bug!
