[Bug 1711407] Re: unregister_netdevice: waiting for lo to become free

2018-06-11 Thread anuj
I'm using kernel version 4.9.73
4.9.73 #0 SMP PREEMPT Wed May 30 13:39:24 2018 aarch64 GNU/Linux
The problem reproduces for me as soon as I do ftp(vsftpd 3.0.3 server on DUT)
to the DUT. After that it just hangs and keeps giving the msg every 10 secs
waiting for lo to become free. Usage count=1.

[Bug 1284432] Re: [Inspiron 7537, Realtek ALC283, Speaker, Internal] No sound at all

2014-02-28 Thread Anuj
Hello

I recently purchased Dell Inspiron 7537. i7-4200M with 2gb nvidia 750m
graphics card.

On installing Xubuntu 13.10, there has been no sound since the beginning. Any
suggestions ?
I am seriously starting to hate Ubuntu on Dell laptops...always some bloody
issue.

[Bug 1007765] Re: brightness adjusting crashes system

2012-10-18 Thread Anuj
Hello,

I have been an Ubuntu user for the past 4 years but since the launch of
ubuntu 12.04 and this bug on my Dell Studio 1558...i have to log into
windows...

If I change the screen brightness continuously a few times, the screen freezes
and computer does not respond...
I have tried Kubuntu 12.04, Xubuntu 12.04, Ubuntu 12.04, Lubuntu 12.04, Linux
Mint 13, OpenSUSE but had this problem with every OS owing to some issue with
the KERNEL.

I would also like to state that Ubuntu 11.10 works like a charm and
being a KDE user, I want to update to the latest version of KDE because
of so many bug fixes and new features...

In the end, I just hate this stupid Dell Studio 1558hopefully
someone can resolve the kernel bug soon :)

I plugged in HDMI cable to my laptop. And to get the audio on TV, I

required ideally :) )

2011-05-04 Thread anuj
Same here. On wireless, starts fine and then gradually degrades to
bits/sec, upto 93% packet loss!

Everything works just fine, if using a wired connection. So something is
related to wireless connection.

[Bug 109297] Dell Laptop Screen Flicker

2007-04-23 Thread anuj seth
Public bug reported:

There seems to be quite a few of us trying to fix this problem on Dell
Laptops. The problem is simple there is a cursor running bottom to top
near the right part of the screen in both ubuntu and kubuntu (7.04). The
problem on the Dell Latitude C600(the one I have) goes away on manually
editing the xorg.conf file and increasing the wrongly detected
resolution from 800x600 to 1024x768. The other machines still have the
problem. Such a problem including wrong detection of screen resolution
was not present on previous ubuntu releases.
