Re: [Bug 220640] Re: [hardy] iwl3945/iwl4965 + wpasupplicant fails to connect to university network. regression from gutsy (ipw3945+wpasupplicant)

Because the issue was fixed in Intrepid as far as I know (at least for me,
newer versions of iwl work without any issues). It was marked as "Fix
Released" some 6 months ago in May. Then someone changed it to "Won't Fix"
without any reason.

[Bug 443279] Re: New Project click on Next doesnt do anything

2009-11-07 Thread apolloFER
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 443004 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/443004

I can confirm this bug. I'm using Eclipse 3.4.1 Classic I downloaded
rather than installed from repositories. I used the same Eclipse on 8.10
before switching to 9.10. I noticed the bug an hour ago and it's quite
annoying. It's more than just new project. Almost everytime when I have
to click on Next (refractor-> implement method) this bug appears.

2008-10-04 Thread apolloFER
It's the same here... iwl won't connect to 802.1X wireless (also
University). I had to inject ipw3945 driver so I could have full
wireless functionality. iwl3945 is still very buggy and not good enough
to be used as the only driver. It would be nice if ipw could be added to
Intrepid as a restricted driver or something similar.

[Bug 264468] Re: GNOME desktop brightness automatically dimmed at startup

2008-09-23 Thread apolloFER
I can confirm it.

When Ubuntu starts up, the backlight is dimmed (battery or no battery,
doesn't matter). I have to use the battery applet to put it to normal.
It dims back when I start Mplayer or some video player. When I pull the
AC plug in (or remove it) nothing happens.

Intel VGA, Lenovo N100, Ubuntu 8.04.
