@David, Kent and AceLan, I notice the jumpiness every once in a while where the cursor jumps to the bottom of the screen. AceLan, I have tested #44 and it works, although PS/2 still shows up on xinput I still have multitouch abilities. .28 runs just like .27, xinput still shows PS/2 like above. I cannot use any of the patches with the "patch -p1 < .patch" command. AceLan, are the patch files what's included or is it for me to patch after I install the kernel? I installed the kernel and everything still works fine. But xinput gives the same values. All works well on my end too. However "cat /proc/bus/input/devices" shows "PS/2 Synaptics TouchPad" on my XPS 13, which I believe has the HID-i2c. But multitouch gestures are present and lsmod presents me with: lsmod | grep i2c_hid i2c_hid18860 0 hid 106148 4 i2c_hid,hid_multitouch,hid_rmi,usbhid So I assume all is well.
