[Bug 1875528] Re: Extra frozen / stuck mouse cursor after auto screen lock / sleep

2020-08-21 Thread area256
I'm also seeing this problem with 20.04.1 with all the latest patches.
I have an AMD GPU (Vega 64), and dual monitors (5k2k and 4k, with
display scaling 125%). Interestingly the extra cursor shows up larger
than my normal cursor, and doesn't show up in screen shots like the
normal cursor.

[Bug 331369] Re: regression vs. notification-daemon: positioning when multiple screens are available

2010-10-24 Thread area256
I'm using 10.10, and the notifications were working correctly (showing
up in the left monitor - which is my primary monitor as set in the
Nvidia control). However when I logged in today, the notifications
moved to the right monitor, which is not where they should be. I have
no idea what could have caused this to happen.

[Bug 632341] Re: Num Lock is not activated by default at GDM

2010-10-24 Thread area256
I agree this needs to be based on state of the Numlock at shutdown.

[Bug 660188] Re: cannot set msn avatar

2010-10-17 Thread area256
I discovered that the avatar_token=[...] line in the file ~/.mission-
control/accounts/accounts.cfg changes with the photo update.

However as noted above the photo just disappears when one leaves the
Personal Information window.

I did however mange to find an interesting error message that occurs (in
the debug window under Empathy.FIleTransfer) with each attempt to add
the photo:

Domain: GLib
Message: g_source_get_context: assertion `!SOURCE_DESTROYED (source)' failed

I think this is the same bug as: Bug #660188.

I have added some extra information to that bug.

[Bug 358192] [NEW] [LG Electronics R405-A.CP03A9] suspend/resume failure

2009-04-08 Thread area256
Public bug reported:

When running the Suspend/Resume stress test the system fails to resume
without pressing the power button to pull it out of the suspended state.
Then when running the later part of the stress test the system failed to
come out of the suspended state and/or failed to enter it (I'm not sure
which). The power light was on as if not suspended, but the system only
showed a blank screen.

Otherwise suspend/resume works find as long as I use the power button to
resume.
