[Bug 127315] Re: F-Spot puts photos in Photos folder not Pictures folder
Perhaps, but I think the current folder setup was created to follow set guidelines. I am surprised that it is taking F-Spot so long to fix what should be a simple problem. -- F-Spot puts photos in Photos folder not Pictures folder https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/127315 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 127315] Re: F-Spot puts photos in Photos folder not Pictures folder
I think that the second option would be better. My main problem with this is, when you first import your pictures, it makes a second copy of them on your hard drive which can take up quite a lot of space. -- F-Spot puts photos in Photos folder not Pictures folder https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/127315 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 138705] [Gutsy] Bring Back the Splash Screen
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-session Currently, in Gutsy Gibbon, when a user logs in all he sees for around 5-10 seconds is a blank screen with no indication of whether or not GNOME is loading or if his computer is just frozen. The splash screen gives the user a visible indication that his computer is indeed working to log him in. Although it has been stated that the splash screen slows down the login process, I haven't seen any noticeable speed increase without the splash screen. I believe that it is in Ubuntu's best interest to again show the splash screen to make Ubuntu appeal to new users. ** Affects: gnome-session (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [Gutsy] Bring Back the Splash Screen https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/138705 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
