I think it's a bug.
I can't open/close the groups with clicking on their names, it works in the 
previous version (2.34.0-0ubuntu3.1). The operation of group open/close 
possible only with the (small) triangles. (i described this strange behaviour 
in the bug description too)

if it's a feature, please make this configurable.

It's obviously affect all *ubuntu versions and not just upgrade. I fresh
installed 11.10 server and I can't install properly this important

In oneiric, I can only open/close groups with triangles at the end of line.
In previous version, I can open/close groups if clicked on the name of groups 
too. 
It's pretty annoying.
If it isn't a bug, please make it configurable, i much prefer the old behavior, 
it was more comfortable :)

happened with me when i set the volume with my keyboard.
i can't reproduce it, happening sometimes but always unexpectedly.

often it happens while using vlc (hide / show, and other operations)
