[Bug 164120] Re: nautilus hangs when mounted nfs drive is no longer accessible

2009-06-09 Thread bbauto
I can confirm this behavior on my notebook with ubuntu 9.04, and my old
stationary P3 with ubuntu 8.04.2. The problems occured in the last week(s).
Workaround:
Killing "bonobo-activation-server" seems to fix the problem temporarily.

[Bug 264117] Re: gdm says wrong password, in terminal OK

2008-09-02 Thread bbauto
I just realized that the Language support and keyboard layout has been changed
to "US" instead of Swedish!?
That's why the Login failed on 2 accounts. I changed my password from the One
that worked, and managed to login via gdm, however when i start Evolution it
only accept my old password... Hmm oki now that i have fixed the Keyboard
layout and Language support, i change back to my old login password... To my
suprise It still fails at Login??? Now i'm not certain wich package that fails,
but it's a bug alright!

If you boot with The LiveCD, and follow this:

But also manually download 2.6.24-19, before reboot. You may also
edit /boot/grub/menu.lst "Default = 2"

If you --> "Ctrl-Alt-F2" --> "login" --> "rm /tmp/X0-lock" --> "startx"
Then everything seems to work, even "Gnome-keyring...". You can also
Click: System-->Administration-->Login window-->Saftey--> Click
"Automatic Login" --> "user x", This works great until you need to
change user, then you will have to make the same manover again.

booting i also get "usb1-2, device not accepting address 2, error -71, assuming

find.
Workaround (works for me cause i'm single user on a USB-stick):
"Alt-Ctrl-F2" , "Login" by Textmode. "sudo rm /tmp/.X0-lock" , "startx" then it
starts up OK, after that i "Enabled Automatic Login", under

I have tried to uninstall it, by many operations... dpkg a.s.o but it seems TO
