Ok thanks, it seems that my local mirror (belgian ubuntu archive) isn't yet up to date... I had to install the new package manually and it works fine ! -- Python-pgm fails to install in jaunty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/339092 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 339092] [NEW] Python-pgm fails to install in jaunty
Public bug reported: I'm trying to install elisa on jaunty, but it depends on python-pgm, which is not installable because of bad dependencies. It depends on python ( 2.6) so aptitude down like that :) Please fix that bug ;) ** Affects: pigment-python (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Python-pgm fails to install in jaunty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/339092 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 289897] [NEW] Apply patches from upstream ?
Public bug reported: It's maybe a stupid question but I have to ask it :) Why don't you apply patches from upstream ? I mean that the latest 2.6.24 patch is the .7, and everyone that use Ubuntu with the original kernel use in fact the 2.6.24.3 kernel... But patches simply correct bugs... Should we apply them to the sources provided in the kernel-source package or it is not necessary ?
