[Bug 339092] [NEW] Python-pgm fails to install in jaunty

2009-03-07 Thread bistory
Public bug reported:

I'm trying to install elisa on jaunty, but it depends on python-pgm, which is
not installable because of bad dependencies.
It depends on python ( 2.6) so aptitude down like that :)

Please fix that bug ;)

[Bug 95444] Re: No Screen Backlight Control; Sony Vaio with nvidia 8 series graphics

2008-11-06 Thread bistory
I don't know if it relies on ACPI Daemon or other but I've a problem with
Hotkeys setup...
I followed what nielsslot said, I restart acpid and mes keys work. But when I
restart my computer, I must restart acpid once when I want to use my keys...

Do you have this problem too ?

[Bug 289897] [NEW] Apply patches from upstream ?

2008-10-27 Thread bistory
Public bug reported:

It's maybe a stupid question but I have to ask it :)
Why don't you apply patches from upstream ?
I mean that the latest 2.6.24 patch is the .7, and everyone that use Ubuntu
with the original kernel use in fact the 2.6.24.3 kernel... But patches simply
correct bugs...

Should we apply them to the sources provided in the kernel-source
package or it is not necessary ?

Thanks for your replies :)

[Bug 253346] [NEW] Latest version update ?

2008-07-30 Thread bistory
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ophcrack

Hello !
I saw that the version 3.0.1 of ophcrack is out for a few months.
They made some great enhancements in their program such as multithreading
support and brute force.
I tried to compile the sources but it's a bit strange on ubuntu system... and I
prefer using package manager :)

So I would know if you consider updating ophcrack to version 3.0.1 or
not :)

Thanks for your reply :)

[Bug 120434] Re: [needs-packaging] Ricoh R5U870 Webcam Driver

2008-05-05 Thread bistory
I've tested the package on Hardy Heron on my Vaio VGN-FZ11e and it doesn't
work...
However, my webcam is 05ca:1837, it is supported by the driver... I don't
understand...
I have just tested with Cheese but I think it's the most compatible program
i've seen with webcams...
