[Bug 412907] Re: X crashes and system is only responsive via sys-req on keyboard
I don't know if this is of interest anymore, but I'm confident that I can 100% reproduce the crash. -- X crashes and system is only responsive via sys-req on keyboard https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/412907 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I suspect this bug on my T61 running Linux Mint 7 (Gloria). Hi, I'm having this issue also on a T61. It seems to happen after resume, as Jeremy wrote. [Bug 242638] Re: Thinkpad freezes when undocking from Ultrabay if CD/DVD-ROM drive has not been deleted manually
snowstar1963, does the hdd get powered down after unmounting the drive and pulling the lever? Mine doesn't. Although the system doesn't freeze the drive makes a nasty sound when unplugging :( I'm not sure, but I think this came about after some updates, especially since the kernel got to version 2.6.27-6. I installed the Intrepid beta a week ago. The ultrabay works out-of-the box at the moment.
