[Bug 23429] Re: console-tools can't handle 12x22 fonts
This is still a problem as of 0.2.3dbs-65ubuntu. Debian's version apparently still has the same problem, while the inability to load any font wider than 8 pixels has been long-since fixed in kbd. Here is a link to the Debian bug report: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi- bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=353203 Here's how I triggered the bug just now: ctrl-alt-F1 to open the console, type $ consolechars -f /usr/share/consolefonts/Lat15-Terminus24x12.psf.gz Cannot (yet) load a non-seekable RAW file read_simple_font(): Invalid argument Same happens with other Terminus fonts wider than 8 pixels. I don't currently have any wide non-Terminus console fonts. -- console-tools can't handle 12x22 fonts https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/23429 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
