[Bug 1824264] [NEW] CPU gets to 100% when Libreoffice is idle

2019-04-10 Thread c3d via ubuntu-bugs
Public bug reported:

1)
Description:Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS
Release:18.04

2)
libreoffice:
  Installed: (none)
  Candidate: 1:6.0.7-0ubuntu0.18.04.2
  Version table:
 1:6.0.7-0ubuntu0.18.04.2 500

Packages
 1:6.0.3-0ubuntu1 500
500 http://tw.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic/universe i386 Packages

3)
When not in use, I expect Libreoffice to require less CPU ressources.

4)
Instead, Libreoffice uses a lot of ressources (CPU 100%)
It happens when leaving the workstation.
It goes back to normal when going back to the workstation.

Hi Dave,

It happens as you say:
- Boot
- Get some work done
- Put the computer to sleep (not hibernating)
- Wake the computer up
Then the problem occurs.

No keybord shortcuts, no possibility to open a new tab or click any links.

[Bug 900181] [NEW] Programs are launched in unity through keyboard shortcuts (Win+number) only when the concerned applications' shortcut is visible on the desktop

2011-12-05 Thread c3d

3) I use a few application often and I know their shortcut well. Home=win+1,
firefox = win+2 etc..
I noticed that when I scroll down the applications in unity and make the first
two disappear from the screen, I cannot launch them using the same shortcut.
For them, to work properly, they need to be visible on the screen.

Re: [Bug 880675] Re: Banshee is not responding when started

2011-10-26 Thread c3d
Hey!
Banshee was unresponsive the first few days after the upgrade. Now I
don't have the issue anymore. I can run banshee the way you wrote me and
send you the report if you wish. I might not know how to easily get the
text file thought.

Cheers,

c3d.

Re: [Bug 671519] Re: System freezes when turning off wifi (Fn+F2)

2011-04-16 Thread c3d
Hi,
Yes the issue is still there. It doesn't freeze the computer all the
time though. The problem is when I switch off the wifi Fn+F2 and then on
again, I cannot see the networks available..

[Bug 487279] [NEW] Rhythmbox sometimes bugs when opening new program (sound robotlike)

2009-11-23 Thread c3d
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: notify-osd

When listening to the music and opening a new program (happened with
tomboy), the sound changes and is robotlike. Closing the program and
reopening it corrects the problem.

1- Description: Ubuntu 9.10
Release:9.10

2- rhythmbox:
  Installed: 0.12.5-0ubuntu5
  Candidate: 0.12.5-0ubuntu5
  Version table:
 *** 0.12.5-0ubuntu5 0
500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com karmic-updates/main Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
 0.12.5-0ubuntu4 0
500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/main Packages

3- I expected nothing to happen but the normal opening of the chosen program
4- The sound changed and I had to close rhythmbox and open it again to continue
to listen to music
