[Bug 311782] [NEW] Terminal transparency fail after games

2008-12-27 Thread c4nn1b4l
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: compiz

I hava a hp nx8220 laptop, with ubuntu hardy. I have to turn off desktop
effects off, to play tremulous or ioquake3, because if i dont, the sceen blinks
every three seconds. When I turn off the compiz effect, the terminal window
show switch to the standard transparency, not showing the windows under the
terminal, just the background. It's fine.
But when I quit the game(s) and turn on the effects again, the terminals
transparency stays standard (not showing the windows under). Restarting the
terminal solves the problem.
Sorry for the grammatical mistakes.

** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New
