[Bug 433650] [NEW] update-manager cannot update the packages
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: update-manager hi i have ubuntu 9.10 my update-manager cannot Install packages it open, then i got the list of new packages, then usually i click Install updates ans it download-install packages checked. Second on board display is deactivated. I noticed this just happens with X on. Hmmm, it seems I've able to resolve my problem unistalling the propietary nvidia drivers completly from from system, via restricted modules on System - Admin menu. I now use nv one.
