I am running into this too, I am a newbie, I mean I just recently-last
week- started to run Ubuntu on my Dell Pentium 3000 Desktop. I installed
some packages that seemed great to have, but now am stuck with no way to
add or remove anything. I have entered my recent error codes into Google
and had some luck on how to uninstall clvm and have performed verbatum
in terminal. I guess i could believe that there is some admin prv, like
the university, but this is my computer. I wonder if maybe rebooting CD
image and reinstalling will work and ignore Red Hat .
