[Bug 740506]
qt can link to openssl because its lgpl licence has an openssl exception, and not because dlopening would make it not 'link' to openssl. poppler has no such openssl exception; and even if it did, that wouldn't help the programmes using poppler which are gpl (e.g. evince) without such an exception. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/740506 Title: verify digital signatures To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/poppler/+bug/740506/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 539226]
The patch as checked in still is full of debugging g_warnings()s; I think they should be removed, as the reviewer in comment 5 and comment 16 also said. MapGIOResult(gint) converts GIOErrorEnum codes to nsresult, but MapGIOResult(GError*) hands it any GError's ->code without first checking that ->domain == G_IO_ERROR (there's no guarantee all those gio functions only return G_IO_ERROR errors). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/539226 Title: firefox(-gnome-support) should be compiled with Gio support instead GnomeVFS -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 455614] [NEW] don't mess with the pc file
Public bug reported: libsm-dev contains the sm.pc pkg-config file. This file has been changed from upstream's by moving the ice dependency from Requires to Requires.private. This shouldn't have been closed for supposed 'lack of information'. Comment 0 contains everything necessary to diagnose the problem. [Bug 63814] please include patch for a highly visible crash in epiphany
Public bug reported: The patch attached to http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=241535 fixes a crash on plugin destruction, http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=354790 which has many duplicates, almost all of which are from ubuntu edgy users. ** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- please include patch for a highly visible crash in epiphany https://launchpad.net/bugs/63814 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 63443] don't enable gnome-keyring support in eds
Public bug reported: I think eds shouldn't be compiled with gnome-keyring support enabled, for two reasons: 0) dataloss: eds does NOT migrate existing account passwords to gnome-keyring! If the user is lucky, he'll remember his password (I didn't, but got them from ~/.gnome2-private/Evolution and could decode them) 1) evolution hangs while interacting with gnome-keyring (upstream bug http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=350838) ** Affects: evolution-data-server (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- don't enable gnome-keyring support in eds https://launchpad.net/bugs/63443 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 62802] missing static libraries
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox The firefox (or -dev) package should contain the static libraries libxpcomglue.a and libxpcomglue_s.a. Those are necessary when you want to build a standalone component without depending on libxpcom / depending on nonfrozen API from xpcom. ** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- missing static libraries https://launchpad.net/bugs/62802 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
