[Bug 77240] Re: Totem randomly crush in Feisty
Sorry for not saying all informations: my music (videoclips) are mostly 80% are MPEG format. Anyway, the operations that crush are: - sliding the movie - next song it freeze the clip (press N), second next song or Play goes to crush I think that is only related with gstreamer packages (related with playing MPEGs). For me seems a general issue. Note: I've installed all packages from RestrictedFormats page (without missing any of them, excluding initial Xine support). -- Totem randomly crush in Feisty https://launchpad.net/bugs/77240 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 77238] Re: Update from Edgy to Feisty does Gedit to not run after GKSU
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 71248 *** For now I've uninstalled the Ubuntu Feisty but for future I will reinstall to display that. Question: gdb does not debug only one program? Does it reproduce to you? Launch as sudo-er user the gedit text editor? (by default I use gksu as the nicest tool to do so). I look on the related bug, and seems related. The behaviour is really similar (there was about launching nautilus). [Bug 77233] Re: Feisty: unbootable after dist-upgrade
Yes, but I solve that in two ways: I boot using the old kernel + I go to Grub, edit the boot line of the kernel and remove "splash" word. Secondly it will ask "an administrative password". I choose the root pasword (which I setup from the live CD with "sudo su -", secondly "passwd"). Anyway the default kernel works works badder, no DMA, etc. but I hope that will change. -- Feisty: unbootable after dist-upgrade https://launchpad.net/bugs/77233 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
