[Bug 1905142] Re: [amdgpu] When entering sleep mode the monitors turn off then immediately turn back on
This happens on 21.04 also. The monitors go to sleep then immediately wake back up, regardless of whether they were sleeping from an idle timeout or a manual screen lock (win-L) Nothing much seems to appear in syslog or journalctl about this. It happens both in Wayland and X11. What other information is needed? What application or package is responsible for sleeping the display? How can we get this fixed? ** Tags added: hirsute -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1905142 Title: [amdgpu] When entering sleep mode the monitors turn off then immediately turn back on To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1905142/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 123498] Re: Floating toolbars prevent OpenOffice from receiving focus after an Alt-Tab
Thanks for your attention to this! I'm using Ubuntu 7.04, and the gnome environment. Desktop Effects disabled! I'm not really sure what else to say about this.. The most concise reproduction instructions I can come up with are: 1) Start Office / OpenOffice Presentation, click Create - A new presentation is created 2) Start Office / OpenOffice Word Processor 3) Try Alt-Tab between Impress and Writer - It should work properly 4) Click Bulleted List in Writer - A Bullets and Numbering toolbar should appear 5) Try Alt-Tab between the applications again - Focus isn't given to Writer properly. [Bug 123894] Scroll buttons associated with the touchpad are sometimes not usable after hibernate
Public bug reported: After hibernate, sometimes the scroll buttons on my laptop stop working. These are physical buttons located beside the mouse buttons (not a scroll area) I've seen this 3 times out of about 10 hibernate cycles. It never occurs after reboot (Not seen after 100 reboots) When in this state, external (USB) mouse scroll wheels still function properly. [Bug 123498] Floating toolbars prevent OpenOffice from receiving focus after an Alt-Tab
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openoffice.org Floating toolbars seem to prevent OpenOffice from receiving focus after an Alt-Tab. If I have a Writer document open, and am currently in a numbered list (therefore have a floating toolbar open) then Alt-Tab behavior between Writer and Impress becomes incorrect. The first Alt-Tab from Impress to Writer results in focus seemingly going nowhere. A *second* Alt-Tab operation to the Writer window will focus on the Writer window properly. This doesn't seem to happen if the origin application is FireFox or Thunderbird. (Firefox - AltTab - Writer) This also doesn't happen if I am not in a numbered list (no floating toolbar) ** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Floating toolbars prevent OpenOffice from receiving focus after an Alt-Tab https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/123498 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
