2013-05-21 Thread cochisebt
According to Ljiljan Veselinović (lilicus), it seems to affect 13.04
also.

However it seems that the menu reappear after a while (see his comment
above).

On my computer using 12.04, the menu don't reappear, they just stay
blank.

As a temporary solution, it is better to uninstall this package:

indicator-appmenu

Instead of libreoffice-gtk and libreoffice-gnome.

[Bug 525807] Re: [upstream] [3.2.1] OOo Slide Show and Fullscreen modes - not full screen under compiz

@ Anna

Your proposition just disable Compiz.

The bug is that full screen doesn't work fine with Compiz.

Replacing OpenOffice with LibreOffice resolved my problem.

Hi,

I really don't know how to rectify this bug. It is very annoying...
Considering the fact that so many people got this bug with PSPP with Karmic,
I guess developers will find a solution soon.

The best we can do is to wait for an update.

I tried the command line you suggested to me, but it doesn't work at
all.

Here is what I get.

I also noticed that they are only the .avi files that I downloaded from
youtube that are not working. I can play them with mplayer, but the sound
and the video are delayed. I can play them directly on the website and it is
working good. I tried with totem-xine, and I get the error message that
CODEC FLV1 is missing. Flash is installed on my computer. Where can I get
this CODEC? I didn't find in package manager.

Everything was working before I upgraded to Intrepid, this is why I think
that there is a little bug over here. Don't worry, I am happy with Ubuntu.

Thank you
