Re: [Bug 357430] Re: eth0 not working, wireless is

2010-04-09 Thread crackerdog
This is no longer applicable to me since I have given up on compatibility
issues between linux and other devices that require Windows.

I like Linux, I wish manufacturers would have better support for linux, but
this is my only computer and I need compatibility.

[Bug 453947] [NEW] Virtual Box will not boot Windows XP

2009-10-17 Thread crackerdog
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: virtualbox-ose

I was previously using VMWare to run the vmdk files. Now VMware is not
working on beta version of 9.10. So I am now trying to get Windows XP to
run under the virtual box.

It starts booting but it never completes. I increased the memory for the
virtual machine to 932mb and that may of helped, but it is now coming up
to the screen where it says windows did not come up properly on a
previous boot and then it hangs.

[Bug 255681] Re: Intrepid, Firefox crashes when viewing Java applets. Segmatation fault core dumped.

2009-01-06 Thread crackerdog
This also happens when going trying to log into a VPN website of Check
Point SSL Network Extender. Which requires the download of an ActiveX /
Java control to the browser.

When entering a correct login and password a window pops up asking a
question, but cannot read it since firefox crashes before I can get a
chance. Below is what I am receiving:

[Bug 243966] Re: F-Spot Crashes when trying to export to Picasa

2008-07-29 Thread crackerdog
I would also like to know which bug you are referring to. Please provide
either a link to the bug or the bug number so that I can see if it is
the same. Because this is still happening to me.
