Re: [Bug 187383] Re: System monitor causes Xorg to consume 100% CPU

2008-05-19 Thread cutlerite
However, even when I don't have a video card installed, I still
experience slowness. Even when the only program I run is
gnome-system-monitor, I reach about 45%.

Whatever is changing is not for the better. In the feisty days, I
could run many things all under 4%. Gutsy under 20%. and now Hardy
100%.

[Bug 187383] Re: System monitor causes Xorg to consume 100% CPU

2008-05-15 Thread cutlerite
Why does this bug say "fix released?" the only programs I am running is
firefox and gnome system monitor, and when I type it is hitting 100%?

How do I get this fix that has been released? I'm running 8.04 fully
updated as of today.

[Bug 134660] Re: Ralink rt2400 / rt2500 / rt2570 / rt61 / rt73 do not work out of the box in Gutsy/Hardy

2008-04-06 Thread cutlerite
Hardy broke my wireless setup (using serial monkey's rt2570), I have
attempted to resolve this issue using the gutsy solutions, however none
of them have worked. Some how the device can pick up SSIDs.

When I start and stop network manager, it fails to load up rausb0.

I think it may have defaulted back to RT2500USB, because when I ran
iwconfig, it shows it as rt2500usb, but I do not know where to change
the rt25000, and I'm quite postive I blacklisted it in modprobe.d

[Bug 158755] Re: After Gnome Logout, Can't Log Back in

2007-12-05 Thread cutlerite
I have the same issue. I can log in the first time, but if I log out,
log in as a different user, I can't log back in as myself again.

I get logged in, but if I ever log out, I can never go back. I am
running an AMD64 Desktop.

Re: [Bug 92207] Re: konqueror and firefox freeze when closing a tab with a flash animation

2007-10-09 Thread cutlerite
well then I am having similar issues. when I try and go to another tab,
firefox freezes. This only happens when i'm watching video playback
through youtube or any other flash video website. That was the closest
bug I could find.

This is a Gutsy issue, so you wouldn't have seen it in Feisty.

Let me know if something looks fishy, or if you know of any similar bugs.
Someone just emailed me and said it was a gutsy issue. but somehow I am
experiencing firefox freezing, only when I try and watch videos...

I'm a newbie to linux, so i really don't know how everything works.

Thanks.

You report a lot of things together.
It's better you split your problem in different bugs.
P.S.:it's seems that workspace problem is the same as Bug #102309.
Is it correct?
