[Bug 353190] [NEW] Jaunty: in checkbox-gtk on keyboard text simply typing displays nothing
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: checkbox In Ubuntu i386 20090401 checkbox-gtk has an issue testing the keyboard. The focus is transferred from the "Type Text" window to the "Test Running" window which means typing in text seems to do nothing. You only need to click on the Type Text window again to re-focus it in order to complete the test, but that uses something other than the keyboard. It would be good if focus could remain with Type Text window and thus remove the issue. ** Affects: checkbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Jaunty: in checkbox-gtk on keyboard text simply typing displays nothing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/353190 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubuntu-netbook-remix UNR beta plus updates: I had a play with xournal over the weekend only it doesn't seem to work on "Most" netbooks due to the fact they don't have touch screens. This a touch screen stylus app and without those it's functionality is non existent. By adding the recommend from the link above and restarting the machine if I apply the mouse to the tablet the cursor shoots over to the left and won't move from that point until I remove it and use the stylus instead. I then need to type this in everytime the system reboots in order for the wifi wpa password to become accessible. This doesn't happen in Ubuntu, Xubuntu or UNR from hardy which is why I'm classing it as a regression. [Bug 337274] [NEW] Wishlist Bug: Minimise Evolution/Other mail clients into the new notify-osd comms applet
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: notify-osd This is a feature request/wishlist bug. In the same fashion that you can minimise pidgin's main window into notify-osd it would be great if you could do the same with evolution. This would leave the app open but remove it's need to take up screen real estate only opening it when an email arrives. Also the app needs to remain open for notify-osd to work with it. Current solution is to use AllTray to add evolution to the system tray for the same effect. This would then leave 2 almost identical envelopes in the system tray. ** Affects: notify-osd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Wishlist Bug: Minimise Evolution/Other mail clients into the new notify-osd comms applet https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/337274 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

In UNR for hardy there is a list of option comparible with those from the Fusa applet in Ubuntu. IE logout, restart, shutdown, switch user etc In Jaunty's shutdown menu you get logout and switch user. How do you shutdown without clicking on the button. If you logout it only takes you to the Login screen and unless you know to look under options for shutdown there doesn't seem to be another way to do it.
