[Bug 1131463] Re: php ldap 5.3 in ubuntu 12.04 LTS does not support pagination

2013-02-22 Thread denix
Hi Ondřej,

I use your PPA for some of my servers but for the production one I would
still use PHP 5.3 and apply the debian patch. maybe you can create a
php5-ldap-5.3 in your ppa that support paging? sorry but I never
packaged for ubuntu :$

[Bug 1131463] [NEW] php ldap 5.3 in ubuntu 12.04 LTS does not support pagination

2013-02-21 Thread denix
Public bug reported:

Ubuntu LTS 12.04.1 is still shipped with php 5.3 for back compatibility
reasons. For LDAP users one of the best improvement coming with PHP 5.4 is the
native support of paging to browse big ADs.
It would be possible to ship a patched version of LDAP, already available here
for debian
https://github.com/jcharaoui/moodle-cegep/wiki/PHP-LDAP-paging---Debian-squeeze-PHP-5.3.x-patch
to enable paging support in ubuntu LTS?
Usually LTS are used in enterprise, and enterprises usually use AD making this
a key feature.

Best regards,
Denis

[Bug 85907] Re: [feisty] fglrx does not support older cards

2007-03-24 Thread denix
There is still no a solution for this problem.
The point is
"Do you want that Ubuntu become like Windowz?"
"Do I have to change my 2 years old laptop just to upgrade to Feisty?"
I think people run linux because is a good choice, not because they have to buy
new hardware (like other OS) to use it...

Cheers,
Denis

PS: the problem is not Low Urgency, thousand of laptop have an ATI
mobile insideati
