[Bug 1757099] [NEW] CSS "pointer-events" wrongly highlighted/colored

2018-03-20 Thread dinamic

background: #8abf00;
z-index:1;
height: 8px;
position: absolute;
top: 9px;
border-radius: 20px;"

pointer-events: should be with bold red but it's not, it's like gedit

[Bug 1677625] Re: Unity8 allows modal dialogs to be minimized, leave the parent window unoccluded but unresponsive

2017-03-31 Thread dinamic
:D yep, so terminal is installed from here https://launchpad.net/~ci-
train-ppa-service/+archive/ubuntu/stable-phone-
overlay/?field.series_filter=zesty

so this is pretty easy to repoduce, just start the terminal, click on
the cogwheel to open the preference window, minimize the preference
window, forget about it, now click again on the cogwheel to bring back
the preferences window, nothing happnes.. just the content of the main
window gets unfocused (not the title bar), so it's not even super
obvious what's going on, not try to type some stuff in terminal.. you
can't.. it's pretty confusing for me. i've expected that the preferences
window sould just unminimize/restore when pressing the cogwheel :D

yes, it's easy to reproduce, just resize the window a couple of times
(make it as small as you can and then large), it's the same with ubuntu-
terminal-app

[Bug 1676375] [NEW] [unity8] launching a previously snapped window, first opens to the position/size before beeing snapped and then resizes to the snapped position

2017-03-27 Thread dinamic
Public bug reported:

Ubuntu 17.04 unity8

[unity8] launching a previously snapped window, first opens to the
position/size before beeing snapped and then resizes to the snapped
position

launch a random app, snap the app, close the app. now launch it again

i kinda understand the logic but it's highly annoying
maybe it should just start at the snapped position or just start at the normal
position (before the snap and just not snap). now it's doing both

[Bug 1676011] [NEW] [unity8] minimize/unminimize animation is not pointing to the app in the launcher

2017-03-25 Thread dinamic
Public bug reported:

ubuntu 17.04 unity8

[unity8] minimize/unminimize animation is not pointing to the app in the
launcher

when you minimize/unminimize and app it just resizes and moves the
window to a fixed location. in unity8 the UX is much better/more
descriptive, it actually resizes the window towards the actuall app icon
in the launcher.

minimize/maximize apps in both u7/u8

probably, btw.. did something change in the way the apps are launched?
so after a reboot i've launched gnome chess from launcher, the app
started (without Xmir) and worked great. but then i closed the app and
the second time it tried to launch with Xmir but failed to load. (not
sure why it tried to launch with Xmir the next times, i also did not
changed anything in .desktop file)

[Bug 1675775] [NEW] short ALT TAB should let go of the grabbed window

2017-03-24 Thread dinamic
Public bug reported:

ubuntu 17.04 unity8

start some random apps, left click on an app titlebar and hold the mouse
button pressed (grab)(do not let go!), quick ALT TAB (if you press ALT
TAB quick it will just move the next app in front, it will not start the
spread), now move the mouse, you'll see the mouse grab icon on top of
the apps, and you are still moving the grabbed window but behind the
other app (you also can't snap the app in this state), i think when you
ALT TAB it should just let go of the grabbed app (i think)

see screenshot

right now and it doesn't start, you'll see the loader on a black window

[Bug 1669052] Re: [unity8] launcher shows the tooltip at the wrong position if you play with the launcher's size for a while

2017-03-16 Thread dinamic
again. so i see there are more bugs with the launcher. better test to
maybe catch more, have a lot of apps pinned (more than a screen so you
can scroll the launcher) and then just play with it, resize the
launcher, change the icon positions, unpinned apps, pinn apps, it will
eventually fail in different ways
