[Bug 1005175]

2014-07-04 Thread Disposable-hero
See bug 8563; attachment 4960 fixes this issue. It has already been
applied in Ubuntu
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfwm4/+bug/1066535), but
nobody seems to care upstream.

[Bug 1133597] [NEW] serverguide lxc doc page shows wrong softlink location

2013-02-26 Thread disposable
Public bug reported:

in the "LXC Upstart Jobs" section of
https://help.ubuntu.com/12.10/serverguide/lxc.html

the sentence:
"To register a container to start automatically, create a symbolic link
/etc/default/lxc/name.conf pointing to the container's config file.",

should be changed into:
"To register a container to start automatically, create a symbolic link
/etc/lxc/auto/name.conf pointing to the container's config file".

Otherwise, even the example that immediately follows makes no sense.

[Bug 82156] Re: krdc sends after one key press several keys

2012-08-28 Thread disposable
I would like this bug to be reopened. I'm on 12.04 and krfb is still
unusable. I've just spent 15 minutes attempting to log into a remote
machine but since I can't even type the password to get past the
lockscreen prompt, I had to give up.

i've tested this with remmina and xtightvncviewer

When will this version of the package appear in Lucid? I have lucid-
proposed and lucid-backports in sources.list, but still nothing.

[Bug 546091] Re: 10.04 Installer doesn't properly detect 9240 MegaRaid SAS Controlers

2010-11-30 Thread disposable
Why is the importance of this bug still "Undecided"? It is a definite
showstopper for anybody who wants to have LTS on those IBM servers or in
our case with Supemicro superservers (6016T-6RFT+)

When I try to load the megaraid_sas.ko module and all I get is:
megaraid_sas: Unknown symbol compat_alloc_user_space

The kernel the installer is using is the default: 2.6.32-24-generic
x86_64

[Bug 387449] [NEW] [karmic x86_64] first launch of amarok tries to install libk3b3-extracodecs which isn't available

2009-06-15 Thread disposable
Public bug reported:

When Amarok is first launched in Kubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala 64bit,
kdesudo window comes up asking user to enter password to execute:

install-package --install libmp3lame0 libtunepimp5-mp3
libk3b3-extracodecs libavcodec-unstripped-52 flashplugin-installer
libxine1-ffmpeg

Because I didn't want the flashplugin-installer (I had the 64bit one
already in), I tried to add them manually and found that
libk3b3-extracodecs isn't even in the repositories. The correct package
name should be libk3b6-extracodecs.

r...@konstantin:~# apt-get install libk3b3-extracodecs

Package libk3b3-extracodecs is not available, but is referred to by another

i did 'chroot /target' and 'grub-install /dev/sda'
this went smoothly and gave no errors, although, no /boot/grub/menu.lst was
generated and i had to start the system manually through bash prompt.
