[Bug 188010] Re: [hardy] gnome-settings-daemon doesn't start
Just upgraded today and the BadRequest bug is still there. Is there any workaround to get GSD started? -- [hardy] gnome-settings-daemon doesn't start https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/188010 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 121653] Re: [gutsy] fglrx breaks over suspend/resume
When I think of fixed I think of, the little orange starburst in the panel came up, I updated and now it works. Is that ever going to happen on Gutsy or will this fix have to wait for the H* release? -- [gutsy] fglrx breaks over suspend/resume https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/121653 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 121653] Re: [gutsy] fglrx breaks over suspend/resume
The earlier workaround suggested of Create this file: /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-fglrx Put this in it: blacklist fglrx Reboot. Worked famously. I know I can't use the cool compiz stuff or other 3D jazz, but for those who just need stuff to work in a basic way, this works around the problem. -- [gutsy] fglrx breaks over suspend/resume https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/121653 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 121653] Re: [gutsy] fglrx breaks over suspend/resume
Xinerama works with the blacklist module thing. I know its not the same as dual head with fglrx, but we're all about compromise on this thread. -- [gutsy] fglrx breaks over suspend/resume https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/121653 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 121653] Re: [gutsy] fglrx breaks over suspend/resume
Ok, I don't want to hijack the bug comments but if you're interested here's my xorg.conf for xinerama with fglrx which works with no kernel module as described. Config for my nvidia card is in there too so just ignore that. http://jjrussell.googlepages.com/xorg.conf -- [gutsy] fglrx breaks over suspend/resume https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/121653 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
